(375ml bottle from boxbeers.dk) Pours a clear deep pink-red with a small fizzy pale pink head that dissipates quickly without lace. Aroma of rather heavy fresh crushed raspberries and juice, raspberry seeds, oak, lactose, some tart cherry-like overtones, touch leafy, light Brett. Flavour is medium-plus sour, lots of tart juicy fresh raspberry, light acetic acid kisses, creamy lactose giving a sweetened raspberry yoghurt feel overall and balancing the acidity, a little lemon, soft slightly leathery oak, Brett is just hinting around the edges with rather light wet hay funk and it's really fruit to the fore. Finish is fruity, tart biting raspberry with a touch of acetic acid but lots of lactose too, soft wood, a little leafy hop, balanced. Medium bodied with a slightly sticky feel but fizzy carb. Really nice one, the lactose sets this apart from a typical CS beer and gives a more substantial feel to the mouth too. High drinkability.

32 oz crowler from Harry’s Tavern in Kansas City, Missouri filled 13 days previous to drinking. The pour is a clear red ruby with a noisy one inch pink head. The aroma is pretty raspberry fruit and funk with a nice leather sour Brett yeast towards the back. The taste is the tart sour raspberry, lemon citrus, floral, leather, than the general Brett funk. The palate is medium bodied with soft to low carbonation and a funky tart sour raspberry finish. Nice one.
