Bottle courtesy of Henok & Magnus. Hazy ruby red pour with a small frothy pink head. Intense raspberry nose diving in to depths of black currants & even sour cherries. Cracker malts, unflavoured yoghurt, leathery funk & lemon. Tiny sweet, sour, fruity & tiny funky taste. Soft, round, tiny dry & tart mouthfeel. Heavy, almost smoothie-like berries. Very light clotted cream butter edge that might just be the lactobacillus & lactose playing tricks on me. Very good heavy fruity sour! Glad I have another bottle. Will be fun to revisit in 6-12 months when hopefully the brett cracks through the fruit more.

375 ml bottle from Beergium.
Ruby body, with a small, light pink head.
Aroma with lots of raspberries, wood, unripe pears, some vinegar, slight yoghurt.
Tastes of sour raspberries, wood, vinegar, some funk, some unripe fruits.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes acidic, wooden, a bit dry, with vinegar, lots of raspberries, slight lactose.
Very nice. Lovely nose, with lots of fresh raspberries. Taste is a bit too acidic for my liking. Didn't get much of the lactose, only if you know it. Overall not among my favourite sour beers by both brewers, while still nice.

On draught at Bob’s Bar during the "Avery Summer Showcase!" event on 06/29/2017. Hazy beet color with a medium thin pinkish-white head that burns away steadily to a wispy film. Spotty lacing. Aroma of berries, funky yeast, oak and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart raspberries, oak, yeast and biscuit malt. The finish is tart and funky with a berry and yeast aftertaste. Good beer overall.

Hardcore raspberry sour, tons of tart fruit and lemon acidity, backed by faint notes of brett funk and oak. Grows mildly sweet on the back end, a vinous vanilla undertone adding some complexity, leading to a yeasty fade with green apple and a slight brininess. A solid sour, sure, but lacks the usual layered Crooked Stave depth. Texture’s a bit overly acidic and harsh as well, like it needed more time in the oak. Good, but not good enough for the price.
