So why is it called “P2”? Well after 3 variations brewed, P1-P3, and some serious testing by my friends and neighbours the unanimous vote was for the bottle labelled “P2”. That was it, the beer was named and the shouts of “when are you brewing more P2?” resonate across the village

Malty and slightly sweet with a dry finish, very drinkable
Hops: Fuggles

31/5/2024. From cask at the 37th Colchester Real Ale and Cider Festival. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, toffee, dark fruits. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily, a little watery, average carbonation. Easy drinking porter.
