1/5/2019. Bottle from Bottle Shop Heroes, Wood Green. Pours clear amber with an average sized fading off-white head. Aroma of fruit cake, malt, light herb and a little sherry laced Christmas cake. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with a touch of sour. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Grew on me.

From cask. Pours hazy brown, hazy. White head. Aroma is fruity, slight wineous and toasted malt. Sweet and toasted malt. Bitter and toasted, dry and slight herbal. Bitter and toasted malt finish.

ABV: 5.0%. Murky medium orange amber colour with a small, virually no head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, phenol, fruit cake. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, phenol, sweet malt, sweet yeast, yeast, sharp, marmalade - strawberry notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20171208]

Pigs Ear BE. Fruit malty aroma. Opaque dark brown. Murky. Very thin off-white head. Light sweet. Super pithy if light bodied. Abrupt finish. Bore score draw.
