Black Rocks is a dark rich beauty with pronounced coffee and chocolate flavors. She starts out harmless enough with the use of chocolate, caramel, and black malts and roasted barley. Over 300 lbs of base malt brings this up to a robust 6.7% ABV with west coast hops spicing up the finish and giving it a hop bite to cleanse the sweetness of that chocolate cake you're eating. Brewed by my wife, for my wife, and ended up just like her! And that's all I have to say about that.

From my parents: pours black with a tan head. Aroma is roasty, pretzel, dark chocolate, and coffee. Taste is sweet, moderate bitterness. Less milky than other milk stouts. More mineral and pretzels.
