Anomaly 1 comes from a Woodford Reserve bourbon barrel which previously held our coffee brett IPA for five months. Once emptied the barrel was refilled with with this milk stout. It has developed wild characteristics alongside rich and complex coffee tones, presenting intensely cordial aromatics.

Bottle from the brewery, thanks Nate: pours blackish with a beige head. Aroma is hints of bourbon, funky yeasts, light chocolate, hints of coffee. Interesting nose. Taste is sweet and funky. All the flavors shine through. Really interesting and tasty.
