Can to mug.
Appearance: dark brown color with a three finger khaki foamy head which slid off delicately to leave some messy lace
Aroma: strong earthy to roasty to caramel/toffee malts running into some big danky to earthy and floral hops
Flavor: mirrors the aromas by blending nicely to arrange a semi-sweet to roasty and toastiness. Mild aftertaste of earthy sweet and danky tones.
Texture: light to medium bodied, some sessionability, some smoothness but also some hop grip, finishes earthy danky sweet with enough hops to give the beer that "second glance."
Overall: that hop dosing in this absolutely tells me this is an American brown ale by style and would be one I would return to.

From my brother: pours murky brown with a beige head. Aroma is lightly hoppy, malty, flowers maybe. Taste is somewhat sweet and chewy. Nice malt. Low bitterness. Taste finish and nice aftertaste.
