Backlog June 2018. Clear golden body under a small white head. Nice, clean apple aroma. Taste is soft, smooth apple, pretty clean flavor. Medium body and same aftertaste. Nothing special going on really, but a fine, honest apple cider with a god balance between sweetness and mild bitterness.

Raffinert ganglag for sarte sjeler.

Bottle. A- Barnyard, apple, orange, funky. A- Golden orange color, clear liquid, minimal head. T- Barnyard, musty, oak, citrus, apple, heavy funk. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, funky finish. O- Holy shit. Literally, this smells and tastes like shit. At least that's how my wife referred to it. After a single sip she handed it over to me. Way too much Brett for her, considering she didn't even know what that was. Even pretty funky for me. This was barnyard overload. Not bad but wow. Be prepared.

33 cl bottle @ home
Aroma has intensive apple juice and some apple peel. Flavour has leathery apples, some acidic tones, apple peel and some floury apples. Finishes with some odd menthol-ish tones. Decent cider.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6%. Clear deep golden colour, pours sparkling with a shortlived white head. Pleasant aroma of cider apples and oak. Dry flavour, cider apples and oak again, "dusty" finish.

Beer #7 of 17 for each day of the 2018 Winter Olympics - One for a Country Participating in the Games: #7 - France Crisp copper and lightly bronzed body with a small, very-fast dying off-white head. Aroma of apples (of course), some light tart yeast, a touch of bread and light cardamom and nutmeg spices and a hint of salt and brine on the finish. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive grainy and yeastie/bread like flavours at first with a pungent blast of apples of course, but showing more of the grain than I ever remember on a cider. Aftertaste is well-rounded with the yeast and malt profile at first that gives way to a light tart and soured flavour that changes immediately to a more fruitier, apple flavour with hints of the spices, including some canella near the finish. Overall, a nice robust and slightly 'different' cider that shows some good qualities that you don't typically see in ciders and a robust complexity from the yeast strain used as well. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors on 24-February-2018 for US$3,75 sampled in my hotel room here in New York, New York on 26-February-2018.

Pours a very nice deep amber from a bottle, white head quickly dissipates but leaves a ring of large bubbles. Nice slightly funky barnyard and apple aroma, similar flavor. Not cloying but not dry by any means. Pretty good cider.
