330ml can, present from Margaret. Sparkling, clear golden colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of apple, hay, funk. Taste is sweet, appley, fruity, sugary, with alittle funk and tartness. Medium bodied, high carbonation, medium sweet finish. Quite drinkable.

On tap at Beer Run - Chelsea, pours a clear pale golden with a tiny white head. Aroma has semi-sweet green apple skins and gentle farmhouse notes. Flavour is very sweet, especially for a French cider, with sweet apple juice and almost no hint of farmhouse notes. Light spritzy finish, with an apple juice concentrate character I cant shake. Not great.

Can at home while making Mexican food, I suppose doesn’t tie to well. Lightbyellow lour and some bubbles. Nose is tannic apple and barnyard. Tatses of tart apple, little pie crust, white wine, minerals and citrus and faint cheesy. Medium bodied

I’m not convinced this entry is the same cider as the 5% abv Aval Blanc, but I guess we’re assuming it is right now. Pours clear light gold. Light fresh apple aroma. The flavor is lightly sweet, on the dry side for ciders, clean, a bit floral, and very well balanced. This is a good cider. Edit: yeah, I found an article from Brewbound announcing the launch of Aval’s newest cider, Blanc. It’s from 2023.

Aval Blanc, 5%. Did this use to be in little glass bottles? Whatever it's called now, my rate disappeared. Lo-ball back at the hotel. Clear, pale gold, just a little spritz. Barnyard, leaf mold, plastic nose. Sweet, half tart, malic, pedestrian bittersweet, popsicle stick, vanillan, mellow barnyard & cheese. Backsweetened? Kinda tolerable. Better right out the medicine bottle.

11.2 oz can sent for my comment. The can names this as Aval Blanc, and the description says this is mostly from sour apples, with Avrolles taking center stage. But this seems to be the same product. A light gold color when pours, some soda pop fizziness that become a light stream of bubbles. The nose is very light, but a bit of, actually, apple juice sweetness. Light cider taste, balanced with a note of pear, and a buttery mouthfeel. I can go for this as an everyday cider.

Gyllen brun med bobler og hvitt skum. Lukter eple og litt gjær. Relativt fizzy i munnfølelse, helt ok.
