For this single hopped Double IPA we use one of our favorite hops, CITRA!!! This hop brings potent aroma and flavor, notably of pine sap, lychee, orange and pineapple. This is dry hopped with our finest Citra from multiple lots as well as Citra Cryo (think hop hash). The result is silky and juicy but with a noticeable hop kick that lets you know this is a Double IPA!

Level 42 Bottleshare. Big thanks to Leighton for the can. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, fairly dry and with decent fine minerally carbonation. Soft dry malts, sweetish, light malt cream. Mellow hop spice and hop skunk. Bolder orange with a touch of lemon underneath. Spice and pine get stronger and mild mango kicks in. Light dry finish. Very nice DIPA, little dry.

Sample at GABF 10/07/2017, thanks to my bro for assistance with note-taking. Hazy golden color with a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually. Tropical fruit, herbal hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with a dank hoppy character and notes of citrus and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Draught @ MBCC '17 [ Red Session ]. - Mikkeller Beer Copenhagen Celebration 2017, Øksnehallen, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 København V, Danmark. [ As Cellarmaker Double Dobis ].Unclear - hazy medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, light heavy hoppy, citrus, herbs, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, citrus, grass, pale malt, fruity hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170513] 8-3-8-4-16

Can at L42 - big thanks to LKS. It pours lightly hazy golden with a medium white hea.d The aorma is fresh, bright, vibrant, juicy, peach, apricot, persimmon, marzipan, almond biscotti and brioche. The taste is soft, sweet, very juicy indeed, bitter - sweet character, tropical fruits, papaya, sticky green hops, dank, grass and a touch of minerals. Medium body and fine carbonation. Well - rounded, fresh and chuggable. What's not to like?

Can split at L42, big thanks to LKS, 26/09/17. Hazed golden orange with a decent white covering. Nose is cantaloupe melon, grapefruit zest, dank hop notes, soft breads, light fleshy mango. Taste comprises sticky tropicana, light pine dusting, grapefruit, light spice balance, tangerine, orange pith. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi dyring close spiked with dank hop bitterness. Solid DIPA action.

Can shared in CANary Wharf - big thanks to drsandman (by way of Will). Pours light hazy gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds juicy citrus, melon, general danknes. Medium sweet flavour with barrels of juicy melon and tangerine, light piney bitterness, other hop oils, mango. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Oily and resinous to finish, with more juicy fruits, both citrus and tropical. Outstanding juice.

Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tangerine, grassy hop, green hop, sticky green hop, hop pellets. Paalte is sticky hop, moderate carboantion. Sticky dank Hop.

Tap@MBCC May 2017, Copenhagen - pours gold with a white head. Aroma and taste is a mix of sweet tropical fruits, prominent grapefruit, tangerine, sweet malty, resinous hoppy, pine needles, hoppy bitter finish.
