For this single hopped Double IPA we use one of our favorite hops, CITRA!!! This hop brings potent aroma and flavor, notably of pine sap, lychee, orange and pineapple. This is dry hopped with our finest Citra from multiple lots as well as Citra Cryo (think hop hash). The result is silky and juicy but with a noticeable hop kick that lets you know this is a Double IPA!

Bottle @ MBCC 2017. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, grass, rich fruity hops, citrus, grapefruit. Flavor is bitter, light sweet, malt, grass, fruity, grapefruit. Medium body, average to lively carbonation, dry and lasting bitter finish. 130517

Sample at MBCC 2017. Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma and taste of hops, pineapple, citrus and light hay. The body was medium and the finish quite bitter.

Tap @ Mikkeller Beer Celebration, 2017. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Dry hopped dusty, a bit old school perhaps. Pine and grapefruit. Okay but slightly disappointed..

MBCC. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and rather hoppy - citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 130517

Sampled at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017. Hazy golden pour with a thin white head. Notes of dank onions, tropical fruit galore, citrus. So rich in flavour and so juicy!

0,05l from tap shared by / with the crew during mbcc red session. yellow hazy color, small white head. smells grassy, peppery, bit musty, doughy, some passion fruit. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes grassy, citric, herbs, peppery, spices. finishes medium bitter with notes of grass, citrus and some peppery notes. not such a big fan does not taste that fresh. 7, 4, 7, 3, 13

Sampled @ Mikkeller Beer Celebration 2017, Red Session. Leicht trübes hell goldgelbes Bier. Geruch ist sehr hopfig bitter, Aprikosen, grapefruit. Geschmack ist sehr hopfig, fruchtig, Aprikosen, toll.
