Naše černé pivo prošlo vývojem a po různých experimentech, byla vybrána varianta která odkazuje na styl Anglický Porter – svrchně kvašené pivo tmavé (ne zcela černé), u nás s vyšší střední plností, spojuje v sobě chuť kávy, čokolády a ovocné tóny. Hořkost je zřetelná, ale nepřehluší sladové a ovocné tóny, ani chuť kvasnic.

Pours very dark brown; looks almost black in the glass with the lightest reddish hints through light. Average sized mocha/yellowish head shows good enough retention and a bit of lacing. Average intensity in the aroma: a quite soft maltiness with caramel followed by notes of chocolate and long coffee. A hint of fruitiness (red fruits) and of something suggesting dark malts acidity. Taste notes as per aroma; there's indeed a quite significant amount of something acrid, perhaps even slightly sour, though not unbearable. The beer is overall quite sweet for the style, but there's enough balance in a semi-dry finish that shows enough neutral bitterness. Light to medium body and carbonation, quite easy to drink with just a hint of creaminess. Though slightly off i still found it decently enjoyable; guess it could be pretty good, maybe an inconsistent batch.
