A collaboration long in the making. We give our freshly dumped bourbon barrels to B&E's Trees, where they go into a long slumber housing their magnificent Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup. We then take that magical barrel back and age an Imperial Stout in it, providing the earthy nuttiness of the Wisconsin Maple Trees to an already outstanding barrel aged stout. Enjoy this expression of collaboration and pure Wisconsin character.

9 4 9 4 17 Bottle shared at TH winterbier T February (The cat edition). Black with a beige head. Aroma of maple, fudge, milk chocolate, vanilla, bourbon and marshmallow. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared at THT. Black with good sized light brown head. Sweet maple, quite sugary, soft booze, milk chocolate, creamy, toasty wood, vanilla, more aromatic dark sugars, grape juice, toffee, molasses. Very sweet with boozy and cinnamon bitter. Over medium bodied with light but sugary feel.

Bottle. Pours opaque black, medium creamy dark brown head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is chocolate, maple, marshmallow, bourbon, earthy. Flavor is fully sweet, medium bitter. Full body, lingering bitterness. Good, but not earth shattering.

Big thanks to Kraddel! Black, quickly gone tanned head. Nose is massive thick viscous maple syrup, sugar, warming, thick, sugar, chocolate syrup, low bourbon,… Taste is massive sweet viscous sludgy maple syrup, low sweet cherry, oodles of maple, sugar, sweet candy, oak, sugar,… Body is all molasses sweet syrup,… Really good, I think that I might have liked it even more if the bourbon was a bit more outspoken.

Thnx to dowon for fixing me this IP trade ! Pours black small grey head. Smell is intense, roasty, some maple , some bourbon. Taste is sweet, intense maple, crisp roast malts intensity. Very silky, low carbo. Sooo good. I am just a bitch to maple stouts ! Roasty finish.
