Lovely dark ruby pour, with a small off white head. Aroma is malty, slightly nutty with some nice up front UK hops. Nothing complicated, but very well made and nice to drink. Subtle spice, good hops, sweet, toffee, nutty malts. Nice stuff.

500ml clear bottle. Pours a clear red-brown with a medium, frothy, long lasting, tan head that laces. Sweet aroma of toasted malt, bread, caramel, butter, oak and herbal hops. Sweet flavour of grainy malt, caramel, toffee, sour cherries, brown sugar, spice, dark fruit, butter, nuts, vanilla and oak with a bitter herbal hop finish. Medium body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Ok.

Creamy beige head stayed on a rich mahogany coloured still body. Malty aroma with festive spices. Medium to full bodied. Crisp on the palate with a smooth tingle on the back. Well spiced tastes with clove, demerara, fruity berries, malt & aniseed. The ABV is well hidden leaving an easy going, drinkable ale.

Bottle: Poured a clear brown color ale with a light off-white foamy head with OK retention and limited amount of lacing. Aroma of residuals sugar notes with some dry caramelized malt. Taste is also a mix of caramelized malt notes with residual sugar notes and subtle dry fruits notes. Body is light with good carbonation. Not overly complex but enjoyable for what it is.
