Tarrytown’s Dutch roots date back to European settlement in 1640. "Tarwe" is the Dutch word for wheat and believed to be the root of the modern Village name. Our Wit ale is clean-bodied and made from a local heirloom red wheat varietal. Pour gently for a creamy white head with hints of local honey, spice, and New York wildflowers.

Lemon, orange. honey, coriander, wheat malt, and hay aroma. Hazy pale yellow with moderate white head. Mildly sweet lemon/orange, white pepper, coriander, wheat malt, and mildly bitter orange peel and grass flavor. Good body.
