Cask @ the brewpub. Aroma has chocolate and coffee. Flavour has coffee, chocolate and mild truffles. Mild ash in the finish. Excellent chocolaty porter.

(Cask at Gallow's Bird Tapiola, 20210227) The beer poured brown and nearly cloudy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had toasted malts, chocolate, earth and coffee. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were malts, earth, chocolate, coffee, toasted notes and bitterness. Aftertaste was toasty and bitter. A tasty and balanced brew with strong toasty notes.
