Sample at the brewpub. This Barley Wine is a clear reddish-amber color with a medium light beige head that evaporates to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of dark fruit, caramel malt and brown sugar. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, sweet caramel and fruit. Light hops presence as well. The finish is fruity and leaves a malt aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Draft at the brewpub. Copper color with a good yellow beige head. Light hop aroma. Full bodied with creamy carbonation. Lots of hop bitter over some sweet malt. Not so sticky as some. Light heat down the gullet. Make that not so sticky as many. Leaves nice bitter in the mouth.
