Unsere craftige Hommage an die Saisonarbeiter und den ländlichen Lebensstil im französischsprachigen Süden Belgiens ist mit einer speziellen Saison-Hefe gebraut, durch die das Bier die für den Bierstil typischen Hefearomen erhält. Gemeinsam mit den floralen Noten des australischen Hopfens Enigma ergibt sich eine genussreiche Symbiose, die zu einem trockenen, erfrischenden ausgewogenen Bier mit fruchtigen Hopfennoten, dezenter Süße und einer Prise Pfeffer führt.

Bottle from the lcbo. Slightly hazy yellow pour, with a large, rocky white head. Aroma is peppery, notes of lemon and grass, pale cereals and light herbs. Lively mouth feel, same for the carb. Finish is bright and lightly bitter, soft cereals, lots of grasses and peppery notes of wheat.

Bottled (thanks to my parents!). Pale orangeish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is mild berry tartness, fruity, some herbal, grassy and mild toffee notes with mild spices. Flavour is grainy and fruity with some slight floral and spicy notes.

33 cl bottle. Golden color, hazy, white foam. Aroma: yeast, light sourness, pear and apple, a little hop. Taste: malty with yeast, pear, apple seeds, wheat, light hop bitterness.

Thuis uit een flesje. Lichtgeel, wit schuim. Gistige geur. Fris, wat citrus in de smaak. Aangenaam.

Aus der Flasche in einem Restaurant. Eher trübes orange-gelb mit etwas festem Schaum. Aroma: leicht malzig, sanfte Fruchtigkeit. Zitrus, Gewürze. Geschmack: Mittlere Süße.Malz, Stroh, Zitrus, Pfirsich, Hopfen. Mittlere Bitterkeit.

Misty gold. Moderate white frothy head. Aroma: white bread, spicy and phenolic yeast, banana, floral notes. Medium minus body. Taste: medium dry, malty and bready, phenolic, spicy, grass. Light to medium bitterness. Nothing outstanding but quite ok.

Many thanks for this beer to Koelschtrinker. Poured into St. Feuillien Saison glass. Srednia piana srednio trwala, jasna barwa zlocista, w smaku delikatne, lekko slodowe, typowe klimaty dla belgijskiego stylu, nieco kwaskowosci, nieco slodyczy i goryczka wyczuwalna.
