Probably the best word ever. Cwtch (rhymes with butch) can mean either cuddle or cubbyhole. Grab a glass, relax and cwtch up with this untraditional Welsh red ale - a perfect blend of six caramelly malts and three citrussy American hops.

Clear amber/brwon pour with a decent head. Aromas of malt, chestnut, some fruits. Taste similar with some citrus and a hint of bitterness. Quite nice.

A slightly hazy deep/dark amber, with a quite big off-white head that shows good enough retention and nice lacing. Nicely vivid/fresh aroma: slight caramelly base overcome by a quite rich hoppy profile, with a rather vivid (but kinda soft) resinous feel, plus citric and lighter floral notes. Taste is much more malty than the smell suggested, with a stronger caramel and slightly toffeeish base, but also not so defined and vivid/fresh. Hoppy notes as per aroma, plus a hint of earthiness/leafiness. Sweetness/bitterness in balance, with none standing out in both taste and aftertaste. Semi-dry finish. Light bodied with average carbonation; a super easy, smooth but nicely lively mouthfeel. Overall: a super quaffable refreshing beer, and pretty good at that, with a quite nice hop profile.
