Beim "Verhopft noch eins!" handelt es sich um einen Weizendoppelbock. Frucharomen zu erschaffen, z.B. von reifen Bananen, Ananas, Rosinen und Zitrusfrüchten, aber auch mehr Hopfen, mehr Frische und Bitterkeit, das ist zumindest mein Ziel. Das Vorbild zu diesem Bier ist die "Meine Hopfen Weisse TAP5" von Schneider Weisse in Kehlheim. Zum ersten mal auf dem Braukunst Live Festival 2012 in Münschen von mir verkostet, hat es meine Vorstellung von einem Weizendoppelbock revolutioniert. Die Idee zu dem Namen "Verhopft noch eins!" kam mir durch die für ein Weizenbier ungewöhnlich hohe Menge an Hopfen, die hierfür zum Einsatz kommt.

Aroma has fruits, yeasty tones and mild resin. Funky. Flavour has grassy hops, grapefruit, fruits, fruit candy and mild alcohol tones. Also some apricot. Nice, I like the fruit candy here. Not your typical weizen bock though.

BBE 18.06.2016 - Pours orange with a small bubbly head. Aroma of smoked notes, caramel, wheaty notes, hints of ripe banana, toffee and earthiness. Taste is sweet, malty and wheaty with some apricot, earthiness, yeast, toffee, caramel and ripe banana. Finish is mildly smoky, earthy and sweet with some apricot, yeast, malts and wheaty yeastiness. Okay.
