Aroma is sweet and heavy with odd toffeeish notes. Also honey. Flavour has honey, some mild woody dryness, minerals and hints of root beer. Alcohol is clearly present and a bit too sharp here.

Pours dark brown with a tiny head. Aroma of typical Pax house flavor, smoke and leather, some hints of whisky, oak, wood and berries. Taste is smooth, sweetish and smoky with some hints of leather, whisky, oak, wood, berries and honey. Finish is sweetish, smooth and oaky with some leather, smoke and honey. Interesting.
