Draught (5.6%) @ the brewpub, San Diego. Aroma has cocoa, some coffee and semi-dark chocolate. Also mild wood. Flavour is dry with coffee, some chocolate and mocha. Nice, perhaps a bit too dry though.

Pours dark brown with a small head. Aroma of roasty malts, hints of nuts, chocolate and coffee. Taste is smooth, sweetish and slightly roasty with some coffee and chocolate notes. Finish is smooth, slightly roasty and sweetish with some coffee and nutty notes. Okay.
