On tap at Half Door Brewing. Pours dark brown with beige head. Roasted malts, caramel, nuts, vanilla. Sweet. Medium bodied.

Draft. Dark brown beer with a dark cream head. malt and light nutty aroma with light cocoa. Light cocoa and light malt flavor. Medium bodied. Malt and earth lingers with light cocoa and backing hops.

Pours reddish brown with a small head. Aroma of roasty malts, coffee, caramel and hints of vanilla. Taste is smooth, slightly roasty and sweetish with hints of coffee and vanilla. Finish is smooth and slightly roasty with some vanilla and cocoa. Okay.

Draught @ the brewpub, San Diego. Aroma is mild with licorice, nuts and coffee. Flavour has coffee, nuts, some berries, licorice and some roasted malt. Finishes with some menthol-like hoppiness. Ok stuff but nothing more.
