(Keg at Ølhus København, 20150403) The beer poured brown and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had clove, cinnamon, cardamom and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, cardamom, sweetness, stinging spiciness and low bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy and bitter. A too spicy brew for my liking.

Pours dark reddish brown with a smooth head. Aroma of spices, malts, syrup and toffee with hints of licorice. Taste is smooth, spicy and malty with some syrup, toffee and grainy notes. Finish has hints of licorice, some spices, malts and grainy notes.

Draught @ Ølhus København. Aroma has gingerbread dough, sweet malty tones and ripe fruits. Flavour has gingerbread dough, some spicy tones, sweet malt, ripe fruits and some berries. Palate is low on CO2. Finishes somewhat harsh with some lingering grapefruit-like hops. For once a winter brew with optimal amount of spices; you can definitely taste them but they are not that overwhelming.
