“Kiss From A Rose”, is a single hop, hazy IPA (6.2%) that we brewed recently with our friends from Trinity Brew Co, Lichfield. Brewed with BRU-1 hops, this IPA has notes of sweet pineapple and tropical fruit, but with a more robust bitter finish than your typical NEIPA!

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5

440ml can direct from the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy gold, small white head, nice lacing. Aroma is stewed apricot, pineapple, slight earthiness. Taste is very similar but what you notice is a strong bitterness throughout so not really a tropical NEIPA. After a while my palate got used to the level of bitterness as it doesn't have an astringent dryness that sometimes can go with this. There is also some sweetness to offset. I really liked the bite of this in terms of a stewed fruit note and bitterness even if it is slightly unbalanced.

440ml can. Pours slightly hazy light gold with a small head. Aroma is sweet, with papaya, melon and lemon. Taste is bitter with melon and lemon.
