This easy drinking NW style sour ale was aged in rum barrels for 20 months with tangerine zest, then blended with our Apricot Ale. Sweet aromas of tangerine and rum are the first thing you notice as you draw your glass near. A quenching sweet citrus, then rum spice take turns dancing on your palate. Rich rum spice and warmth lead to a lingering sweet tangerine finish like warn sand. Most rum beers only go to 10, ours goes to 11!

Draught at Harry’s Hofbrau in Redwood City. Hazy deep pumpkin orange with white head hat fades quickly to a ring. Citrus aroma follows through to a run, tangerine and candied pecan. So tasty. Alcohol well hidden.

On tap at St. Augustine during 1500 menu event with Alex. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is a littlr bie weird with some spices and sweet buns notes. Taste is fermented stone fruits with some acetone notes. Sour fermented apricots aftertaste. Interesting stuff.

Bottle @ MBCC 2017. Pours slightly hazy golden with a small offwhite head. Aroma of malt, sourness, yeast, wood, tart fruit, citrus, tangarine. Flavor is rather sour, light sweet, yeast, wood, rich tart fruit, citrus. Medium body, average carbonation, acidic finish. 120517

[5/12/17] Draught at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017. Blue session. Golden. Citrus, oak, some funk, a bit of alcohol, sour, kinda acidic. Very good.

Vintage 2015. orange hazy color, small white head. smells of wood, marzipan, nutty, bit earthy, light coconut. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes sweet, lightly acidic, grassy, fruit notes, marzipan, light apples, some wood. finishes rather balanced with light sweetness and light acidic notes and marzipan, apples and some grass. very nice balance on the taste, quite good one overall 7, 4, 8, 4, 16
