This easy drinking NW style sour ale was aged in rum barrels for 20 months with tangerine zest, then blended with our Apricot Ale. Sweet aromas of tangerine and rum are the first thing you notice as you draw your glass near. A quenching sweet citrus, then rum spice take turns dancing on your palate. Rich rum spice and warmth lead to a lingering sweet tangerine finish like warn sand. Most rum beers only go to 10, ours goes to 11!

Tap at City Beer. Pours cloudy amber. Aroma is grapes, vanilla, funk, but clearly a atrong sweet beer behind it, almost boozy. Tangerines, yes, I think so. Body is rather heavy, leveraged down by sourness and fizzy carbonation. Intense throughout, but balanced too. Very good.

Bottle. 2011 batch. Spicy nose, oranges, rum, a bit of vinegar. Huge, complex, lovely. Flavor of tangerines, biscuits, chocolate, wine, spicy. Rum notes are amazing. Great fruit depths. Wow, this is lovely stuff. Has aged very well and seems better than people have found it in the past. Much less sour than the typical Casade, and so balanced and complex.

Bottle at What The Funk. Pours a cloudy orange with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is apricot, tangerine, peach, sugar candy. Thin mouth, nice tartness, spice from the rum, tangerine and apricot, hides alcohol well, very nice.

Location: Bottle shared at Max and Andy's Tasting, 2/28/15, Rating #4400!

Aroma: This one has a funky/tart and fruity aroma to it
Appearance: It pours a murky orange color, with a small fizzy head
Flavor: It has a pretty similar flavor, nicely sour, with a tart finish to it
Palate: The mouthfeel is pretty good, medium bodied, with a somewhat tart finish
Overall Impression: This one makes sense as a milestone beer, as it was rather enjoyable. One of the best things I ticked at this tasting for sure.

Bottle @ Avery Sour Fest 2014. Pours a milky yellow orange appearance with a white head. Vanilla, coconut, a touch of oak, and a fair amount of orange in the nose. The flavor is full of juicy fruit - pineapple, orange / tangerine, and a bit of mango. Kind of a fun beer.
