[ As Norfolk Brewhouse Moon Gazer Ruby Ale ].Clear medium to dark orange amber colour with a small average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, caramel, sweet malt, caramelized malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel, hay. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150807] 5-3-5-3-9

Dark color with a thick nice tan head. Good lacing also. Looks good. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an average carbonation level. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Bready and dried fruits in the flavor.

500ml bottle from East of England Co-Op Foodstore, shared on the train from Norwich to Ipswich and Chelmsford. Fair white head and lacing. Golden-brown in body colour. Moderate spiced malt-fruity aroma. Taste of dried fruits and leafy hops. Rounded malt-fruity ending. Average Brit bitter. (18.02.2017).

Bottle from the Coop at Norwich Station. Pours ruby brown with a lasting creamy off-white head. Aroma of malt, vegetable, rye bread, light fruit. Medium sweetness, medium bitterness. Light body, average carbonation. Wasn’t great.

Bottle on the train from Norwich to London, 17/02/17, picked up from the Co-Op on Narch station. Golden amber with a well appointed of white head. Nose is biscuit, toffee, earthy, light fruit esters, straw. Taste comprises biscuit malt, light spice, earthy fruits, faint red berry notes Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close dashed with earthy bitterness. Ok malt forward bitter.
