Keg at innis and gunn edinburgh. Pours black, nose is coffee, chocolate, caramel, coconut, vanilla, taste is similar, rich, chewy, roasted.

ABV: 14.5%. Clear dark black brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, chocolate, vanilla, cocoa, sweet malt - maple, chocolate - coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, dark malt, roasted, chocolate, coffee - chocolate, vanilla. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. Pours an oily black colour with no head to speak of. Aroma's: heavy sweet, molasses, bourbon, coffee, vanilla. Retronasal it's sweet, bourbon, vanilla, light coffee, very light berries. Flavour is quite sweet and I seem to detect some hazelnut? Full bodied. Prickly carbonation. Long finish, light roasty.

Bottle pour. Medium body, sweet, boozy. Strong bourbon, dark chocolate and vanilla, rich, decadent. Not like I actually remember, but better than my memory of '19. Excellent.

Fjerde stopp på The Bermondsey Beer Mile ble Craft Beer Junction, hvor vi ble helt fantastisk godt ivaretatt av en særdeles kunnskapsrik og entusiastisk innehaver. Generøs smaksprøve fra flaske: nesten kullsort, kort skum. De lekreste inntrykk med mørke karamellsjokolader, bourbonmarinerte rosiner og fiken, dessertkaffe, bourbon, lakris og vanilje. Sublim.

Shared bottle at Craft Beer Junction, Bermondsey, 07.08.22. Ebony. Superb aroma and taste of raisins, dates, bark and dark syrup. Very good and complex!

Draught, taster. @MBCC 2022, Copenhagen (Denmark). 13/05/2022 [#4.928 Global - #668 United States of America - #4 Transient Artisan Ales] 2019 vintage. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma: Bourbon, wood, vanilla and fudge. Taste: Four rouses shining through. Dark chocolate and cake as well. Very good but just a sip. Next one please!
