On tap at the source. Nice clean crisp dark beer roasty nose. First taste is rather slaggy but not offensive, just unique for this style. Then, after a few slugs, the dark roasty wood feel comes thru. Very smooth and well behaved on the uptake. Fine co2 in there. I'm liking this. Not bad, has a friendly dark lager attitude without any bitter bite. Finishes like a mild stout.

Dark brown with a large foamy tan head that left good lacing. Roasty, woody, a bit burnt and with a hint of fruit. Medium finish and body.
