Oud Beersel Kriekenlambiek is a traditional Lambic beer, produced by the addition of real sour cherries for natural fermentation in young Lambic. Once the cherries have been fully macerated and fermented, the Kriekenlambiek is blended with an older lambic to reach the desired flavor. For each liter of Kriekenlambiek, there are 400g of sour cherries. It is not sweetened; no flavorings or preservatives have been added.

Bag in box at Wild Beer Day 2024. Misty dark purple body, not much head. Unpleasant, slightly fecal cherry notes, minerally, not too pleasant. Lean, tart taste, sour cherries dominate, thankfully better in the taste, simple lambicoid background. Meh... Probably not in the best of shapes, and the bag in box is probably inferior to actual draught.

Box at Deliriums, Brussels, 8th November 23. 7.6 abv. Pours a ruby red. Aroma is bright cherries, tart berries. Taste is cherry, fresh, it’s full on, intense, alcohol is there. Good

@ De Cam Volkscafé. Clear red colour, no foam. Tart, lemony, lots of sour cherries, some almond. Great.

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 25 Aug 2022) Dark red colour with creamy, pink head. Fruity, sourish nose with notes of cherries, black-currant, barnyard and hay. Fruity, tart taste with cherries, blueberries, stable, barnyard and hay. Medium body, dry. Really fresh and tasty, with a generous acidity and a good berry character. Very nice.

On tap at MBCC Blue Session. Pours a dark ruby with medium pinkish head that lasts. The aroma is funk, oak, cherry skin. Thin body, sour cherry, wood, light funk, dry finish, very good.
