Oud Beersel Kriekenlambiek is a traditional Lambic beer, produced by the addition of real sour cherries for natural fermentation in young Lambic. Once the cherries have been fully macerated and fermented, the Kriekenlambiek is blended with an older lambic to reach the desired flavor. For each liter of Kriekenlambiek, there are 400g of sour cherries. It is not sweetened; no flavorings or preservatives have been added.

From tap at Beer Geek Bar, Prague, 02.01.20. Clear red. Dense pink head. Aroma of sour cherries. Wonderful taste of cherries and sweet Anton Berg marzipan. Tart acidity. Very quaffable, but not that complex.

Draught No head, nearly clear bright ruby beer. Nice fresh sour cherries aroma, with some rainwater/wet dog. Cherry juice, surprisingly not much acidity; cherryjam with fresh cherries abundance, sourish character withhout burn. Light body, fruitfilling, no carbonation. Long lasting cherry flavour. Very good.

[ As Oud Beersel Kriekenlambiek ].Clear dark red colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, pink head. Aroma is moderate to heavy cherry, almond, light barnyard - leather. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light light acidic with a long duration, cherry, almonds, cherry puree, sweet cherry, light tart cherries.
