Can, no date code. Pour is slight haze orange yellow pale. Bready nose with a hunt of berry fruit. First big swig has some hints of wheat ale but the berry kicks in and overcomes it. Yes, wheat ale is present, but wheat ale negative bitter aspects are somewhat suppressed. This makes it go smooth thru the middle where I'm starting to enjoy the even balance of blackberry and beer. Some bitter bite is building during the session but it never gets in yer face. In the end its easy drinking and is quite quaffable. Perhaps a little better than expected. Very light tart effects can be found if you look for it. Finishes with a friendly, uncomplicated, undemanding, effortless chug a lug. Just a little boozy up front but in the conclusion, you'd never know this is more than 5%!

Sample at the taproom. The beer is a cloudy pineapple juice color with a medium thick frothy white head that evaporates quickly to a film. Sticky strings of lacing. Aroma of wheat, berry and malt. Light body with flavors of mildly tart berries, wheat and biscuit malt. The finish is wheaty and fruity with a berry aftertaste. Decent overall.
