OK, found this can in the fridge. My daughter must have put it in there. Just curious if its a leftover from last year or is an early arrival for this year hehehehh. You know, these things come out earlier and earlier every year. Anyway, after a long rewarding morning and afternoon in the hot 95F sun doing yard and garden work, this stuff at 7.5% should be great, no matter what it tastes like. Its cold, its high alky and its beer - period. Well, when I pop the can (dated ?/18/23), it pours rather medium brown and it has a very nice foamy tan head. Smell is a very mild pumpkin spice, just barely; its mostly a malty smell beverage. First taste is a volatile near sweet cloying mess. Not sure if I'm getting much pumpkin spice, but I can tell tis there. Perhaps the aging of this has changed it a little. Somewhat warming sensations down the throat thru the middle. A little bit of off bitterness starts to shine thru near the end. Very mild co2 effects in this, almost flat but there is a sense of fine sizzle in there if you look for it. Starts to yield a calming sensation on my brain. I guess that's the higher ABV kicken in, yay. Maybe it'll allow me to forgive the fact this is not really a refreshing brew. There, you have it.
