Ball Bearing Blonde kicked up a notch. Habanero peppers made this a spicy little number. Once you get past the heat there truly is a sweet side to that pepper.

Slightly hazy gold with a large white head that left good lacing. Strong hot pepper and not a whole lot else. Long finish. medium body.

Bottle, almost clear pale. PMO! Big foaming over the top pour made a mess on my table! Oooo, boy, the nose is certainly peppery. First big swig is immediate heat, what a palate. Very good co2 level. Nice first impression. Their Ball Bearing Blonde is not bad but the addition of hot pepper make this stuff really fun. Its quite impressive from the start. Really tasty, but the habanero is so much up front there is this overly warming sensation all thru the session. Anything that touches this brew is affected with heat. Yummy. Impressive, yet unique. Have not had much of a decent hot beer thing since Azteca Chili Devil, Cave Creek Chili Beer or even Twisted Pine Billy's Chilies. Yes, there are a lot of good spicy hot meads out there but very few very well done spicy hot beers out there. I guess I got to try Habanero sculpin from ballast point? I'm not much of an IPA fan but I bet the heat will overcome my negative bias, hehehh.
