From a puffed can, this stuff pours into a glass with big giant head that wants to roll off the top. Barely any beer in the bottom at first. This is supposed to be a red ale Well its just hazy off pale if you ask me. Smell is not malty. Palate endure tremendous bubbling and the foaming pressure makes it hard to keep your mouth shut without downing this brew. OOOh baby, first taste is big ass sharp phenol astringent bite of bitter, this stuff has no excuses. First it wants to spill all over the floor, then its not red, then it wants to make my mouth explode and now its kicking me in the mouth with the volatile taste. An irish brew with an ire attitude, whew. Comes across more boozy than 5.8% would normally indicate. Ends the session with a big ass nasty finish, ugh.
