No wonder I couldn't find this in the search, its spelled wrong! Spelling on can is Monocle! From a cheap can this stuff is a beauty of a pour, very dark almost black with a nice foamy alabaster tan head. Smell is certainly mild peanut butter and perhaps a little choco malt, not sure. Taste is peanut butter fer sher, just a little bit it is very present. Also, since its only 5.8%, I'm quite surprised of the warming sensation I get when it goes down the hatch. Definite stout character with just a little peanut butter. Maybe some chocolate, but nothing chocolate out of the ordinary for any stout.

Black with a large foamy tan head. Roasty, bitter and astringent with a nutty note. Long finish. Medium body.
