Can (10/3/24) from Oliver's Beverage Center, Albany. Hazy (fine particulate mist) golden yellow, tons of sparkle, fizzy thin head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is vanilla, holiday spices. Taste is vanilla, strong holiday spices and fruit. Smooth, soft texture, medium bodied, lively carbonation and finish as taste. A little early for the holiday beers but didn't want to let this sit any longer. Glad for the opportunity to sample the brewery.

Dark gold with a medium sized foamy head. Dry and grainy with cracker and vanilla. Medium finish and body.

Got this for a buck off the bargain shelf! Nice find, if you like pastry stouts. It's a big 16oz pounder can. Why was I expecting a big black pour? Was I thinking pastry stout? Did I already say it? Nose is mild sugar sweet. To call this a blonde or golden is wrong, it is flavored and the only thing common with a hazy blonde is its color. This has to be some kind of white pastry stout? Is there such I think? I think there is white stout and this is pastry, so!!?? Pour is hazy pale and Its taste is sugary, not cloying, but almost annoyingly sweet. Decent co2. Not really my stye but it is well balanced between a sugar cookie and an ale of some sort. Finished with a feel that seem more than 6%.

Poured a mostly clear golden color with a small white head. Aroma was creamy vanilla. Kind of an artificial smell to it - I like it, but it's not popping with a big fresh vanilla or grain character. Flavor was pleasant vanilla, sweet. Easy drinking.
