Rip Currant is a refreshing, fruited-ale for anytime of the year. Waves of raspberry and black currant blend together to give this beer it’s sweet and bright juiciness.

From a can as pictured. Very nice tart wild beer nose. I can pick up some berry in the olfactory. Murky darker pinkish brew with a good-looking foamy carpet for a head. First taste is not as wild as the nose, but it does possess some tartness. Yes, it has a tad of that processed feel about it. Some co2 present. Rather smooth, not bad. At least it's not a typical dull fruit beer, there is something friendly about it. I can appreciate the low alky content in this, it makes it quite civil and quaffable.

12 ounce can from State Line Liquors, 6/11/22. Hazy red, almost looks like blood. Medium fizzy tan head, average retention. Aroma of tart currant, raspberry, pepper. Taste is currant, grape, raspberry, pale malt. Jammy, slick. Decent.

Pours reddish purple with a two finger head. Aroma of tart berries. Sweet tart flavor with berries and currants readily apparent. It’s nothing special but it’s good.
