MONYO Brewing Co. introduces its first historical beer that takes you back to ancient Egypt. The recipe was inspired by a 3000-year-old ceramic artefact, in which the remains of ancient beer were discovered. This gave the idea for this archaic beer that was made with the use of exquisite ingredients like silkweed-honey, saffron, golden raisin and grape juice. It is named after Anubis, the Egyptian god of mummification and the dead, who ushered the souls into the afterlife.

Kicsi, gyorsan eltűnö hab, borostyán szín. Mézes, szőlős, fehérboros, fűszeres illat. Kissé édeskés, fehérboros, pezsgős, szőlős-mazsolás ízvilág, határozott mézes aromával. Közepesen testes, pezsgősen szénsavas, alig keserű, enyhén száraz. Kellemes ital, amiben a pezsgős vonal viszi a prímet, de tetten érhetőek a sörös és boros aromák is.

elegant 0.75L bottle with champagbe cork, which is quite unusual in case of a Hungarian craft beer; opalescent golden colour, practically no head at all, only some white lacing; aroma of linden honey, maybe some grape, too; taste of honey-syrupy sweetness, some grape and maybe some minimal grapeseed-bitterness; unbalancedly sweet ’beer’ - I’m really grateful that hops are also added to the beers since the middle ages

75cl bottle, HBF 2017. Poured clear golden color with no head. Aroma has honey, sweetness, bee hive. Honey dominates, but quite light bodied. Sparkling.

Clear golden colour. Aroma and flavour are quite sweet. Lots of malts and maybe some honey too. Floral.
