It does have a bit of that sharp pilsner bite in the background, and I appreciate that it does not have it forward like so many other domestic attempts at this style. Balanced and easy to take. A civilized brew. More like a fresh version of the old country staple. Nicely hides its stronger alky content, you'd never know it was over 5%.
