Dark yellow with small white head. Honey, biscuit malt, and fresh hay aroma. Moderately sweet honey, biscuit malt, and moderately bitter/astringent fresh hay flavor. Good body. Nice.

From a can it's a clear copper colored pour. Smell is a little sweet, just like most hellers. No head to speak of, just a pond scum topping. Has a tad of co2, but this brew is quite volatile on the initial uptake. Whew, it's definitely a bock, and I'm enjoying its attributes. Probably a little stronger than most bocks but what the hey! Its ass kicking. Ruff at first and it starts to lay down its effects as the session continues. In the middle it becomes rather smooth after a while, even a little soothing on the brain, heheh. Still, that olfactory remains quite volatile, it lets you know this is not yer typical lager, heheheh. Once to the bottom of the glass, it still carries a bit of co2 and it is quite sweet but not cloying. Decent job, old WC.
