Raspberry Truffle

Bottle. Can't tell it's a porter form the label, heheh. Smells like one of those pastry beers and its dark like one of those pastry beer, whatever. Well, at least I can pick out the raspberry on the first slug, it seems to have a pretty good non artificial feel about it and its balanced as well. Not sure if I can pick out the chocolate. Yea, this stuff is a little better than expected. I thought it would be like ono of those sickening sweet cloying pastry brews but it's actually a little more acceptable. Yes, towards the finish I'm getting some of the chocolate and I can now see where the truffle comes from. Most pastry brews need to take a lesson form this, it hides the 7% alky content nicely. Quite civilized for what it is.
