12 ounce can from Vintage Estate, 10/23/22. Black, large tan head, good retention. Aroma of chocolate, roast. Taste is roast, chocolate, mineral notes. Slick, well balanced. Nice.

Pour is big and black with very big choco moose head. Nose is nice mellow choco malt, quite attractive. Taste is bitter dark chocolate. Decent carbonation level. Hints of old damp half burned charred campfire wood. Rather smooth in the middle, it starts to lose its co2 effects. Pretty good stuff clear to the end. Yes, a porter that does not want to be a stout.
