50cl bottle at Bridge House, Belfast. Pours slightly hazy amber with a dense and lasting off-white head. Bitter hers and mild malt in the aroma, some fruity notes and hints of pine and citrus. Moderate sweet with somewhat modest hoppy flavours, but a rather bitter finish. Quite okay. Worked well with Chili con carne, but feels slightly unbalanced.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy amber body with a thin off-white head that holds well. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of peach and furniture polish. Flavour of pine and sorrel with a slightly odd tanginess on the finish. Medium body with an oily texture. Light fizz. Very bitter and steely.

Bottle shared at Craig’s. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. Odd nose with lots of ginger, cookies and dry bread. Light-medium sweet flavor with bitterness of lime rind, ginger cookies, grains. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with bitter grains, ginger, toasty pale mals. Interesting.

500ml bottle, BBE 08-14
Very flora-aromatic in the nose. The beer starts great floral, very intense and smooth. The mainpart is mild, not too sweet or malty, so that the hop floralness can be tasted at full range. Hints of pine, even a bit viscous. The 5.5% are ideal for this brew. The aftertaste is long and intense: Pine, hints of earthy floralness, fresh and easy drinkable. Not too bitter till the end. The floral pine-aroma remains very long in the mouth.
A really great IPA, where the floralness lies over the smooth and not too intense body. Great! --> 13/12/14/13
