Leicht trübes bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit einer ordentlichen leicht beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch kräftig malzig, holzig, süß, Dörrobst. Geschmack leicht bitter hopfig, harzig, holzig, Vanille, reife Früchte, wärmend alkoholisch.

Aroma has sweet, ripe fruits and caramelly malt. Flavour has sweet malty tones, caramel, resiny notes and alcohol. Also some woody tones. Finishes with mint and herbal hops. Decent.

Bottle at wpbf. Hazy amber color, small off-white head. Toffee, hops, resin and alcohol in the nose. Medium-bodied. Toffee and resin with some alcohol also in the flavor.

Bottled@wPBFIII. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some mild earthy and herbal notes. Flavour is fruity, some bitterness, mild earth and some slight spices and mild sweet malts to it.

Sample at SBWF 2014. Brownish with a small head. Aroma and taste of malt, grapefruit, caramel and some hay. The mouthfeel was thick and did notice some warming alcohol in the finish.

Bottle (Stockholm Beer Festival 2014) - Dark brown in colour. Raisins, pine and some slightly soapy hops in the aroma. Raisins, malt, grapefruit and marzipan can be detected in the taste. Nicely balanced.

Bottled (as Monks Café Blend no.23 Hello Hordeum), from Systembolaget. Hazy brownish amber, minimal head. Grapefruit, marzipan, pears and jasmine up front. Sweet with full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Pears and caramel, cointreau and grapefruit, notes of marzipan. Peppery warming finish. Heavy and warming.

25cl, gråsälstasting #4. Mahogany color, thin white head. Sweet, bready malty, raisins. Flavor has nutty notes, raisins, bread, sweetness. Surprisingly light for tje abv. Wow.
