Bottle shared at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. A light hazed brown coloured pour with a halo of light tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, nutty hazelnut cakey malts, rubber, bark. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, oily, jammy, bark, little harsh alcohol. Pine. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, mellow carbonation.

Bottle at CBJ Tasting. Opaque cola brown. No head. Aroma has dark fruit and a hint of sweetness. Tangy. Boozy. Herbal. Liquorice .Medicinal. Medium bodied. Oily. Soft-average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Warming.

Tasting at CBJ, thanks to Leighton for the panda. Clear deep amber beer, small and short lived bubbly pale tan head. Light smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth if thin bodied malts, a little caramel and cream. Ripe fruits and a touch of candy fruits on the back end. Light finish. Smooth and drinkable, could do with a little more malt depth.

Moderately sweet, toffee, stewed berries, mellow booze, vanilla. Soft notes of age. Well balanced.

Extremely dark mahogany brown topped with a beige cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is fruit cake, toffee, dark malts, herb.
Taste comprises fruit cake mix, dates, figs, caramel, lick of booze, toasted brown sugar.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation with a kiss of booze.
Okay sipper but coming over a little tired.

750 ml bottle in a trade with Chalumeaux. Early 2016 release. Color is a dark brown, still holding Co2. Aroma is brown sugar, raisins, booze. The flavor is ok with the exception that the bourbon flavor being low with the booze really high.

The body is real thin. Even with time to mellow, the alcohol is still really forward. If you have a bottle hold it. It may or may not Improve. Right now this is very mediocre at best.

Taster at the source pours dark red brown with a beige head. Aromas of chocolate bananna vanilla bourbon. Taste is dark fruit clove chocolate oak and bourbon. Interesting.
