Cask at the Plough, Norwich. Mid-gold, clear with a gentle white head adorning the top. Spruce, tropical fruit and a dash of astringency in the smell. Taste is ambrosial: bitter turning quickly to sweet and finishing a slightly sulfurous bittersweet finish. Tasty and unique. Worth seeking out.

Cask at the Plough - Norwich. Pours clear, glowing gold with a lasting white froth. Ripe citrus in the aroma, some pine, pale bread. Medium sweet flavor with grassy bitterness, orange, tangerine and oily pine. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Lightly warming in the finish, resinous, with some marmalade, more orange and tangerine, some mineral flint, pale bread, pine. Nice old school cask IPA.
