(10/28/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Santa Rosa. As "Dortmunder Lager". Hazy orange color. Aroma of malt and some grainy notes. Sweetish malty flavor with bread and a slightly bitter finish with some slightly grassy hops. Medium-bodied.

Draft at the brewpub as Dortmunder Lager. Very light aroma of malt. Darkish gold color with a white head that left rapidly. Flavor hints of cola, but mostly light caramel malt. Noble hop bitterness balances. The finish is decently dryish and bitter. Improved with a bowl of chili.
