Cidery sour cherry nose. Clear rust colored, no head. Nicely balanced sweet and tart cherry flavor, veering delightfully toward sour, but just a bit. Musty finish. Nicely done and good for a fruit beer, but not very distinctive.

Bottle. Fantastic aroma of cherries. Great mahogany color with a minimal pinkish-white head. Thin to medium bodied with creamy carbonation. Flavor is tart cherry, with a slight chalky undertaste. The finish is fairly dry, and there is some herbal bitter, but the cherry still dominates. Nice drink.

Bottle Pours a clear deep cherry red with a very large pink fluffy head that sticks around. Aromas are intense cherry, a bit over done like cherry jolly-ranchers and a slight woody, musty hint. Lots of sweet cherry flavor, again a bit forced, and candy like but quite tasty. Fairly light feel and moderately fizzy. Not quite as syrupy as the Lindemanns. A hint of tartness that almost balances it out. I’m liking this more with each sip. Very yummy.

Bottle. Red beer with a pink head. Dusty, medicinal cherry aroma. Very (VERY) sweet cherry flavor with light dustiness, but sweet and fruity. Alcopop.
